Bringing the toys to life.
I composed a thirty-minute score and designed a live electronic system that allowed modified toys to sing and perform together with Ableton Live and modular synthesis. The toys became performers rather than props.

The pony sang first.
The audience entered through an electronic church-organ sound before each toy gradually became a solo performer.
The Little Pony always sang first, allowing the audience to discover where the magic happened before the modular system slowly joined in.
Across the performance, the toys moved through joyful, fairy-tale, ambient, and uncanny musical landscapes.
